I have attained several certifications during my many years in the fitness field. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength Conditioning Association, Certified Personal Trainer through American Council on Exercise, a Certified Functional Movement Screening Specialist and Certified Selective Functional Movement Assessment Specialist. Needless to say, I take gratification working in the wide-ranging field of fitness, wellness, sports, and nutrition.
The philosophy and the training sessions at Fitness Functions are based on my personal experiences. I used to believe that you had to push yourself to the limits and train long hours to get fit and stay healthy. I have come to realize that is not the answer! I set out to cut the workout time spent in the gym and still get the same results with a lot less stress on the body – FIT30 training sessions were born! With only 30 minute sessions and purposeful intensity your body can achieve great results. Although exercise is necessary it is not the most important thing in life. If you are like me, I would rather save time for other stuff in life – enjoy great food, good nights sleep, and have fun with loved ones.

I spent my days enjoying all the sports I possibly could when I was younger and focused on basketball and martial arts. I’m always up for new activities – my determination and curiosity never lets me turn down a challenge or opportunity for new experiences. Time and time again, I’m reminded of the positive effects exercise has on my own physical and mental well-being. My appreciation for what our bodies and mind can achieve is ever increasing.
As a Personal Trainer, I want to share my enthusiasm, encourage a happier and healthier lifestyle, and help you realize what your body is capable of. I believe that with the right training program, a bit of determination, and support, anyone can achieve their goals.

I was constantly hungry, lacked confidence, embarrassed by my body – I hated seeing how unhealthy I looked in photos and cried when nothing in my closet fit and when I’d try on clothes in dressing rooms, only to feel even more depressed.
Today, I look and feel better than I could have imagined 10 years ago – even as a busy mom and small business owner. My success didn’t happen by luck, good genes (not even close!), or a quick fix diet. No, I actually made a resolution to lose weight, on New Years 2008. This started out as a diet, but as my journey went on, I learned how to change how I lived my life, how I viewed food, and how I treated my body.
Consistency, determination, and a change of mindset helped me find my new life and healthy body.
I’ve spent years diving into nutrition, habit change, and fitness for my own journey – I became a certified nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition and have completed TRX Suspension Training and TRX Sports Medicine Training courses.
After I became a mom in 2015, my focus on healthy nutrition and lifestyle habits changed. I not only wanted to look and feel my best, but I also want to raise my children to love food, movement, and a healthy lifestyle. As a nutrition coach and a mom, my passion is to help other women learn to feel confident – in their body, in their life, and in their food choices.
