Can One Question Improve Your Health?
Think about all the choices you make in a day – wake up and eat breakfast or hit the snooze button, pack your lunch or go out, order a side salad or a side of fries, workout after work or go to happy hour, go to bed to get 8 hours of sleep or stay up watching TV – you get my point. Each one of these may seem insignificant, but in a day, a week, a month, a year they add up! What if we started asking ourselves one simple question when we are faced with choices such as these – could it make a difference?
Ask yourself, “What’s the better choice?” Would you start making different choices? We often think change happens only when we reach perfection, or make the best choice, but simply making the better choice will set you on the path to success to reach your goals and to continue to improve. Making the better choice will not always be easy, but you will find you won’t regret it – and over time can become contagious.
Try it for a week (or two) – see how you feel, how it improves your life, and the lives of those that look up to you. It’s simple – “What’s the better choice?”
